Settings and your account
Choose your language, your look and what goes on your invoices, and keep track of what you have agreed to, all from your own account.
What can I change in Settings?
Settings leads to Data Sovereignty, Communications, Your data and privacy, Your sessions and devices, Billing details and Presets, each covering one part of your account.
A line at the top repeats any answer you gave about the minimum age for your market, or says that no minimum age applies to your account.
What is on my Profile page?
Profile shows the contacts you sign in with, your plan, the day you joined, the language Nija writes to you in and the documents you have agreed to.
Plan reads Free tier or Paid, but it is only a label: every request is paid from your credits either way.
How do I change the language Nija writes to me in?
On Profile, choose your Language and press Save, and the messages Nija sends you from then on, such as sign-in codes and low-balance alerts, arrive in it.
The language picker in the top bar changes only how the app looks in that browser, not the language of what Nija sends you. A message with no version in your language arrives in English.
In the chat the same choice sits under Settings (⚙), and a language picked in either place is used by both the chat and the rest of the site in that browser.
Nija's emails read properly in any mail app, including one that shows plain text only, and a language written right to left is shown that way.
Pages about your agreements, your data rights, your marketing email and data sovereignty choices, your market and age, and your billing details are machine translated for convenience and say so in a note: the English wording is the official one, Read the English version shows it in place, and Show in my language switches it back.
Can I use a dark theme?
Yes: the theme button switches between light, dark and automatic, which follows your device setting, and each device remembers its own choice.
On one device, your account pages and the chat share the same choice.
Can I save a model and an instruction to use again?
Yes: open Settings, then Presets, press Add preset and give it a Name, a Slug, which is its short id, the Model it should pick and, if you want, an Instruction (system prompt) and Generation settings.
The Slug cannot be changed once the preset exists, and a blank Model lets you choose each time. Saving again under the same Slug keeps the earlier version and counts the version number up.
To change a preset, press Edit on its row or select its name: the form opens with everything the preset holds already filled in.
The Model box lists the models you can use as you type a name, and a model that is not on that list is pointed out before the preset is saved.
The instruction is what the model is told on every call that uses the preset, up to 20,000 characters. The settings boxes take temperature, which sets how predictable or varied the wording is, top p, which keeps the model to its likeliest words, and max tokens, the longest an answer may run to; any other setting added through the API is listed under the boxes and kept when you save.
Each box is optional: a blank temperature or top p leaves the model to its own default, while a blank max tokens caps an answer at 1,024 tokens. A value a request sends itself replaces the preset one.
How do I put my business name and tax number on my invoices?
Open Settings, then Billing details, fill in only the boxes that belong on your paperwork and press Save billing details.
Every box is optional, and Nija prints the details as you type them without checking the tax number, so saving one does not mean your business was verified.
Details apply only to documents issued after you save them; Remove billing details clears them again.
Which of my invoices carry my business details?
On Credits, the Business details column says for each document whether it was issued with your business details.
A document keeps the details it was issued with, so one issued before you saved yours stays without them, and receipts for charges never carry them.
How do I see which terms I have agreed to?
On Profile, What you have agreed to lists each document that asks for your agreement, with its version, when it took effect and whether you accepted it.
Where a document is waiting for you, Accept records your agreement to the version shown, on that day. If a newer version appears while the page is open, Accept is refused until you reload and read it.
